Sometimes a running Windows DHCP server is needed which cannot be disabled, and also happens to be connected to the internal management and booting network of a Bright Cluster.
In this case, there should be a DHCP redirection definition in the Windows DHCP server for PXE requests.
If the Windows server has the Windows Deployment Service (WDS) role, then you must ensure that the WDS is stopped. This is because the WDS can act as a separate DHCP server that blocks PXE requests from Bright’s booting nodes — even if the DHCP request has been redirected through the Windows DHCP server.
